First Baptist Church actively participates with the Marshall Ministerial Alliance. The Alliance is a group of those churches participating in the city of Marshall and the surrounding area. The Alliance provides for community worship events, such as Marshall High School Baccaluareate, Community Holy Week Worship, and Community Thanksgiving Worship. The Alliance provides for a Transient Ministry, ministering to the needs of those not from this area and are passing through our city. The Alliance also provides for ministry to Marsaline Manor and The Living Center, Marshall Habilitation Center, to the community through the Faith Page devotional of the Democrat News, Marshall Police Department Chaplaincy, and oversight of The Salvation Army and Local Benevolent Ministry.
